1. 오류의 종류

• 컴파일 오류

       코드 작성 중 문법적인 오류

• 실행 오류 (runtime error) 

        컴파일은 정상적이었지만 , 프로그램 실행 중 발생할 수 있는 오류

 

자바는 발생 가능한 오류에 대해 예외처리를 하여 프로그램이 비정상적으로 종료되는 것을 막고 로그로 남길 수 있다.

2. 자바에서 예외 처리 방법 (try, catch, throw, throws, finally)

 2.1 try-catch문으로 예외 처리하기

try{
	예외가 발생할 수 있느 코드
}catch(처리할 예외 타입 e){

	try에서 예외 발생 시 여기서 예외를 처리
    try의 코드가 모두 실행된다음 catch로 오는것이 아니라 예외 발생 후 바로 오게됨
    발생한 예외가 처리할 예외 타입과 매칭이 되어야함
    
}finally{
	예외 발생 여부와 상관없이 항상 수행되어야하는 부분
	사용한 리소스를 닫는 부분
}

try블록에서 예외가 발생하면, 예외가 발생한 위치에서 바로 해당 catch 블록으로 이동하여 try 블록에서 exception 아래 코드는 실행되지 않는다.

	System.out.println(1);
	System.out.println(2);
try{
	System.out.println(3);
	System.out.println(0/0);//exception 발생
	System.out.println(4);//실행되지않는다.
} catch (ArithmeticException ae) {
	System.out.println(5);
} 
    System.out.println(6);

위의 코드에서 0/0 ArithmeticException이 발생하므로 try-catch 실행 순서에 따르면 4는 출력 결과에 나오지 않는다.

 

예외가 발생하면 발생한 예외에 해당하는 클래스의 인스턴스가 생성된다.

1. catch블록을 차례대로 내려가면서 catch블록의 괄호 내에 선언된 참조 변수 종류와 예외 클래스의 인스턴스를 instanceOf연산자를 이용해 검사한다.
2. 해당 catch블럭을 찾으면 catch 블록을 수행 후, try-catch를 빠져나오게 된다. 만약 찾지 못한다면, 예외 처리되지 않음

	System.out.println(4);//실행되지않는다.

	if(ae instanceof ArithmeticException){

2.2 try - with -resources 

fileinputstream(autoCloseable 구현하고 있음)과 같이 무조건 닫아줘야 하는 경우

• 리소스를 자동으로 해제하도록 제공하는 구문 
• 자바 7부터 제공
• 해당 리소스가 autoCloseable을 구현한 경우 close()를 명시적으로 호출하지 않아도 try {} 블록에서 오픈된 리소스는 정산적인 경우나 예외가 발생한 경우 모두 자동으로 close()가 호출됨

자바 9 이후에서 try- with -resources 문

외부에서 선언한 변수 명 그대로 사용 가능

 

[자바 9 이전 ]

AutoCloseObj obj = new AutoCloseObj();
try (AutoCloseObj obj2 = obj){//다른 참조 변수로 다시 선언해야함
	throw new Exception();
}catch (Exception e){
	System.out.println("예외 부분");
}

[자바 9 이후]

AutoCloseObj obj = new AutoCloseObj();
try (obj){//외부에서 선언한 변수를 그대로 쓸 수 있음
	throw new Exception();
}catch (Exception e){
	System.out.println("예외 부분");
}

2.3 예외 발생시키기 - throw

 

 1. 연산자 new 키워드를 통해 예외 클래스 객체 선언

Exception e = new Exception("고의로 발생한 예외");

 2. throw키워드를 통해 예외 발생

throw e;

위의 코드를 한 줄로 사용 가능 

exception 인스턴스 생성 시 생성자에 문자열을 넣으면 인스턴스에 메시지로 저장되어 getMessage()로 호출 가능

try{
   throw new Exception("고의로 발생한 예외");
}catch(Exception e){
	e.getMessage();
}

 

2.4 throws키워드를 사용하여 메서드에서 예외 선언하기

메서드의 throws를 명시하는 것은 예외를 처리하는 것이 아니라, 자신을 호출한 메서드에게 예외를 전달하는 것이다.

이런 식으로 계속 호출 스택에 있는 메서드에 전달되다가 main메서드에서도 예외가 처리되지 않는다면, 프로그램이 비정상적으로 종료된다.

main()에서 Throws를 사용하면 가상 머신에서 처리된다.

void method() throws Exception1, Exception2{
	//메서드의 내용
}

2.5 printStackTrace()와 getMessage()

printStackTrace() 예외 발생 시 호출 스택에 있던 메서드의 정보와 예외 메시지를 화면에 출력

getMessage() 발생한 예외 클래스의 인스턴스에 저장된 메시지를 얻을 수 있음

3. 자바가 제공하는 예외 계층 구조

예외 클래스들은 두 가지 그룹으로 나눌 수 있다.

4. Exception과 Error의 차이는?

• 에러(error)→ 에러 발생 시 프로그램의 비정상적인 종료
• 시스템적인 부분, 반복적인 재귀 호출로 인한 stack over flow 등 가상 머신에서 발생 동적 메모리를 다 사용한 경우
• → 메모리 부족(OutOfMemoryError), 스택오버플로우(StackOverflowError)등 일단 발생하면 복구 불가한 심각한 오류
• 예외(exception)프로그램에서 제거 가능한 오류, 읽으려는 파일이 없음 , 네트워크 소켓 연결 오류 등
• → 자바 프로그램에서 예외에 대한 처리가 가능함
• → 수습이 가능하며 개발자가 미리 예상하여 예외처리가 가능함

5. RuntimeException과 RE가 아닌 것의 차이는?

• RuntimeException
  • ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException
  • NullPointerException
  • ClassCastException
  • ArithmeticException (정수를 0으로 나누는 경우)
• RuntimeException(주로 프로그래머의 실수로 발생될 수 있는 예외)과 이외의 Exception 클래스들 ( 사용자 동작에 의해 발생하는 경우)
• RuntimException 이외의 클래스
  • FileNotFoundException : FileNot 존재하지 않는 파일 이름 입력
  • ClassNotFoundException
  • DataFormatException 등
• 프로그램 사용자들에 의해 발생 가능.

6. 커스텀한 예외 만드는 방법

jdk에서 제공되는 예외 클래스 외에 사용자가 필요에 의해 예외 클래스를 정의하여 사용

 

기존 jdk클래스에서 Exception클래스를 상속받아 예외 클래스 만들었다.

테스트 클래스에서 직접 커스텀한 예외 클래스로 예외처리
